Taxi
With one of, if not the greatest theme tunes in TV history, Taxi was a hugely popular show focusing on the lives of some New York taxi drivers and their rather abusive dispatcher.
The show, for some reason, always struggled for popularity with US networks: despite winning 14 Emmy awards in just five seasons, Taxi was cancelled twice; astounding when you think that the show helped produce some of the brightest comedy talent of its day with the likes of Judd Hirsch, Danny DeVito, and Back To The Future’s Christopher Lloyd.
It is an amazing show and we are proud to have it here on Paramount. Enjoy.
