Generally, as humans obsessed with pop culture, we love to be scared. There's nothing better than a roundup of terrible celebrity tattoos with your morning coffee. We won't say no to a nice list of God-awful art. Hell, we'll even gladly get spooked by a nice collection of scary (not so pop culture related) fish.
But that's all just us observing the world from the comfort of our houses, innit? What about actually facing all the terrifying things we read about? What about getting spooked FOR REAL? For example, would you ever go to Chernobyl? How about a Chinese national park with a glass walkway suspended over 1,400 meters above ground? Yeah, same. But we still want to read all about it.
