America Invented Some Downright Insane Food This Week

Rainbow drinks and pizza burgers were just the beginning.

American food is weird, this much we know. But this week something snapped, and the food of our wildest dreams seemed to appear out of nowhere.

Earlier this summer we had Starbuck's secret menu 'pink drink', that basically set Instagram on fire (ask for a Strawberry Acai Refresher with coconut milk instead of water).

Then Starbucks started selling ~rainbow~ drinks and we lost our goddamn minds. LOOK AT THEM:

But wait, there's more. Domino's PIZZA BURGER, ANYONE?!

The tag line? "Looks like a burger, tastes like a pizza". DEAR LORD.

What on earth could be cool enough to wash all that down with? Ohhhh I don't know, maybe... DOUGHNUT-FLAVOURED SODA!?

#CheerwineKreme is here! It’s Cheerwine with the flavorful hint of Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed doughnut.

That's right, 'Cheerwine Kreme' is the new soda phenomenon sweeping the Carolinas in the US, flavoured exactly like a Krispy Kreme doughnut.

We're done, we're done, we're dead. Or at least we will be, after eating all this stuff for a week.
