American food is weird, this much we know. But this week something snapped, and the food of our wildest dreams seemed to appear out of nowhere.
Earlier this summer we had Starbuck's secret menu 'pink drink', that basically set Instagram on fire (ask for a Strawberry Acai Refresher with coconut milk instead of water).
Then Starbucks started selling ~rainbow~ drinks and we lost our goddamn minds. LOOK AT THEM:
Cheers to rad rainbows and fantastic friends #OrangeDrink: Orange mango juice with vanilla bean powder and a splash of coconut milk. #PurpleDrink: Iced Passion Tango Tea with no water, sub soy milk, vanilla syrup and blackberries. #BlueDrink: Iced Passion Tango Tea with no water, sub soy milk and vanilla syrup. #PinkDrink: Strawberry Acai Starbucks Refreshers with no water, sub coconut milk. #GreenDrink: Iced Black Tea with no water, sub coconut milk and matcha. But wait, there's more. Domino's PIZZA BURGER, ANYONE?!
The tag line? "Looks like a burger, tastes like a pizza". DEAR LORD.
What on earth could be cool enough to wash all that down with? Ohhhh I don't know, maybe... DOUGHNUT-FLAVOURED SODA!?
That's right, 'Cheerwine Kreme' is the new soda phenomenon sweeping the Carolinas in the US, flavoured exactly like a Krispy Kreme doughnut.
We're done, we're done, we're dead. Or at least we will be, after eating all this stuff for a week.
