Bar Pays Tribute To Gene Wilder With Burger Of Pure Imagination

If you want to view paradise... Simply look around and view it.

Of all the amazing tributes that have hit the internet since Gene Wilder’s sad death last week, this has got to be the very best.

Bar Luca in Sydney has come up with the burger of dreams.

Inspired by Wilder’s famous film, Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, the Beauregarde Burger is named for the competitive Golden Ticket winner who fell victim to Wonka’s innovative three-flavour gum that turned her into a giant blueberry.

Lucky Aussies can experience the pure joy of wrapping their lips around a beef patty with fried potatoes, cheese, tomato soup jelly, blueberry onion jam and ‘Wonka sauce’ (don’t think about it too much), served on a multicoloured milk bun inspired by Wonka’s factory.

Willy Wonka didn't make burgers, but if he did, they'd definitely look like this.

IT IS GLORIOUS.

Pure, burgery paradise.
