Calling All 90s Kids: Bryan Cranston Will Play Power Rangers' Zordon

It's Morphin' time.

90s kids, come closer. We have important news. A nostalgia bomb has just dropped, and it's more exciting than we could have thought possible: Bryan Cranston, AKA Walter White from Breaking Bad, AKA Hal from Malcolm In The Middle, AKA possessor of the hottest dad bod on the planet, has a new role.

HE'S PLAYING ZORDON IN THE NEW POWER RANGERS REBOOT.

AS IN, THE WISECRACKING HOLOGRAM DUDE WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF TOMMY, KIMBERLEY, BILLY ETC.

Nostalgia glands tingling? Read on: in the new Power Rangers film, Cranston will play the floaty head/galactic sage who created crime-fighting friends the Power Rangers, and sent them to go head to head with evil villain Rita Repulsa.

She'll be played by Elizabeth Banks, but nearly all of the Power Rangers will be played by up and coming actors.

Cranson's link to the show isn't as random as it seems - he voiced some of the monsters on the original Power Rangers TV show back in day.

Fun fact: Cranston voiced Snizzard, and geeky dungarees-wearing Billy Cranston was actually named after him. The more you know.
