David Schwimmer Doesn't Want To Play His Friends Character Old 'With Crutches'

He just crushed our dreams of a Friends reunion.

Friends reunion rumours are everywhere since MILLIONS of people were fooled by a spoof Friends: The Movie trailer. The vid by Movie Smasher went viral couple of weeks back and now the world is obsessed with the idea that Ross, Phoebe and the gang may reunite.

Lisa Kudrow was asked about the clip by Conan O'Brien, and said that "something needs to be done." ARGH.

But David Schwimmer, who famously negotiated for the entire main cast to earn $1 million per episode in the tenth and final Friends series, says we should give up on the idea. Now.

Speaking on US TV show Megyn Kelly Today, Schwimmer said it just ain't happening:

"I doubt it. I really do," he admitted.

"I just don't know if I want to see all of us with like crutches, like walkers."

Lisa Kudrow voiced similar concerns:

"I mean, that was about people in their 20s, 30s. Well, the show isn’t about people in their 40s, 50s. And if we have the same problems, then that’s just sad. That’s not fun."

Just a few months earlier, Matt LeBlanc chimed in with a similar message:

“That show was about a finite period in people’s lives, after school and before you get married,” he said. “That time where your friends are your support system. And once that time’s over, that time’s over.”
