Emily Blunt Pours Fuel On The Fire Of Hope For A Friends Reunion

The pesky public, always hanging out around film shoots.

Everyone wants a Friends reunion. It's science.

And while filming their latest blockbuster, The Girl on the Train, Emily Blunt and Lisa Kudrow accidentally made fans think such an incredible event was on the cards.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Blunt said, "Lisa Kudrow plays this friend of mine, and we were shooting in Grand Central Station.

Comedy Central

"Her character's name is Monica and my character's name is Rachel.

"So we had about 300 extras and then we had actual commuters coming into Grand Central who heard on the loud speaker, 'OK guys, we're going to roll on Rachel.'

"And then they see Lisa Kudrow walking on, and then they hear, 'Guys, we're going to do a closeup on Monica.' And I saw two people have an aneurysm."

Apparently they had to change the name of Kudrow's character to Martha just to save New York-based Friends fans from breaking down.

It's easy to see why they were so excited, though. Can we not just make this thing happen?
