Get this. In season one, the numbers on the doors of Rachel and Monica’s, and Chandler and Joey’s apartments were four and five. Right?

But Monica and Rachel had a balcony. The view from their window was definitely not street level. And they could see directly into Ugly Naked Guy's apartment.

We watched them walking up and down stairs. The possibility of them living on the ground floor was ZERO. 

Yep, it’s yet another screw up.

After the first few episodes, the team DID catch on and changed the door numbers:
