Trevor Noah's made it no secret that he LOVES Black Panther, but did you know the host of The Daily Show is IN the movie?!
In the blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene, Noah's distinctive South African tones can be heard voicing the A.I system in the Wakandan ship piloted by Everett K Ross (Martin Freeman). He's Griot!
There's so much going on in this action-packed blockbuster that granted, it's easy to overlook (or, overhear?). But it's there, people! Just another thing to add to Trevor's list of 'incredibly cool things I have done'. And he's so modest about it.
Several Black Panther characters speak Xhosa (one of the official languages of South Africa) and Noah raved about the film on his show - but never mentioned this lil' tidbit.
"It's an amazing Marvel film. It's one of those things where I guess some people got too hyped up the wrong way about it and they're like, 'So is it a black film?' It's like, no, it's a film," he said in February.
"It's the same way 'Wonder Woman' was a dope movie and if you were a woman, it was extra special, you get what I'm saying? Black people are just like, 'Yeah, it's a dope movie, and if you're black, this is an amazing movie,' that's all it is."
