For us die-hard Friends fans, the long-awaited reunion is the Holy Grail at the end of the tunnel of the friends we made along the way.
And if that hellish mixed metaphor makes you half as confused as it should, it pales in comparison to this: Jennifer Aniston says the reunion is out of the question because of Facebook.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine last week, Janniston addressed recent rumours of the gang getting back together head on.
"Honestly, I don't know what we would do," she said of herself and co-stars, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, and Lisa Kudrow.
"I think that period of time was sort of nostalgic. I think why people have such an affection for it is because even though it was only 12 years ago it ended, or 13—God, it's getting farther and farther away—there was something about a time where our faces weren't stuffed into cell phones. We weren't checking Facebooks and Instagrams. We were in a room together, in a coffee shop together. We were talking, having conversations. We have lost that."
So, basically, she's saying the Friends reunion would be pretty dull because they'd be checking their phones the whole time, instead of... whatever the hell people did in coffee shops before free wifi. Did we talk? Pretty sure we all did some talking back in the day... *tweet tweet tweet*
Thanks for letting us know, Jen An, but we're still waiting on that notification.
