J.K. Rowling might’ve created the wonderful world of Harry Potter, but this week she proved she’s definitely NOT a witch.
On 1st September ever year, Potterheads the world over celebrate Back to Hogwarts Day. It’s the day that, if there was any justice in the world, we’d head to Platform 9 3/4, climb aboard the Hogwarts Express and start a magical term at Britain’s premiere school of witchcraft and wizardry.
But this year, Rowling got a bit overexcited - not to mention ahead of herself.
She tweeted: "If you're at Kings Cross, the Potter, Granger-Weasley and Malfoy families are there too. Albus Severus starts school today #19YearsLater."
Clearly, she was hit with a powerful confundus charm, because EVERYBODY knows Albus has another year before he heads off to Hogwarts and - CURSED CHILD SPOILER ALERT - his life goes horribly, horribly wrong.
Fans, of course, picked up on the error immediately, but Rowling wasn’t too proud to apologise.
What a woman.
