Friends spin-off series 'Joey' certainly gets a mixed bag of reviews.
While some people reckon it was a great idea, others prefer to turn a blind eye on its existence...
But it turns out Matt LeBlanc and his signature character weren't even creator Kevin S. Bright's first pick.
Speaking to the metro, he explained: "At first it was the obvious choices of who they wanted to do a series with and Jennifer was up there first, but she wanted to do movies and she wasn’t interested in television."
Which is all well and good. Until you found out he wasn't even second choice.
He went on: "Then we liked the idea of a Monica and Chandler series, but everyone at the end, strangely enough, while they were grateful for doing the show, they didn’t want to play those parts anymore, but there was still one cast member not quite ready to let go."
This is like a flashback to team-picking in P.E...
No worries though. You can still catch him in all his pizza-loving glory on Comedy Central UK...
