As diehard (and Die Hard) Friends fans, we'll always associate Matt LeBlanc with Joey Tribbiani, and Joey Tribbiani wth Matt LeBlanc. They are forever intertwined, all over the world, and the six stars of the show will always be grateful for their part in it.
But even they can be surprised by the global reach of the show, some 12 years after the last episode aired.
Matt LeBlanc has told Entertainment Weekly that even in the middle of nowhere, far away from the Western world and the trappings of social media and television screens, Friends follows him.
"I was in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, shooting a thing for Top Gear.
"I mean, we were far away from civilization. And these people were wearing robes, and they live in caves and stuff. They called me Joey and said, 'How you doin'?' in a really butchered accent. It was like, 'Oh wow. Did not see that one coming.' The show is everywhere. It still holds up."
Top Gear has already taken Matt to some far flung locations, and we bet they knew him in every single one. Because he's a mega babe, and we'll always want to know how he's doing.
