Matthew Perry Has IRL Nightmares About A Friends Reunion

Let the man rest!

So it turns out that in addition to all those other things that might stop a Friends reunion - including the creator not being too into the idea - it's also a prospect that gives Matthew Perry actual nightmares.

Yep, when asked about the possibility of a special, Perry told Variety that he actually has a "recurring nightmare" about it.

Warner Bros./Comedy Central

"I’m not kidding about this. When I’m asleep, I have this nightmare that we do 'Friends' again and nobody cares. We do a whole series, we come back, and nobody cares about it."

Even though nobody caring is about the most remote outcome possible, it's still managed to dash our hopes and dreams.

Because Perry also said, "So if anybody asks me, I’m gonna say no. The thing is: We ended on such a high. We can’t beat it. Why would we go and do it again?"

BECAUSE THE WORLD NEEDS THIS, THAT'S WHY.
