He won't be there for you when the rain starts to pour. He won't be there for you, like he's been there before. He won't be there for you, because life is unbearably cruel.
Okay, back up: when news broke that the Friends cast would be reuniting for a two-hour special next month, we trawled the internet in search of confirmation that it was definitely-no-joking-please-god-actually-happening.
To our amazement, it all seemed legit. Matt LeBlanc tweeted confirmation, and Lisa Kudrow followed shortly after.
But now Matthew Perry, Chandler Bing, Ms. Chanandler Bong, has stated that he won't be appearing at the reunion.
Perry’s representative told US Weekly: "“Regarding Matthew Perry and the James Burrows tribute, Matthew will not be attending, as he is in London in rehearsals for his play,”
She did clarify that he may tape something remotely for the show, but maintained that he needs to be in London to work on his self-written play The End of Longing.
What about the end of our longing, Perry? WHAT ABOUT OUR LONGING?
But tbf and tbh, that's not the worst thing to happen in the course of human history. It means that us Brits have more time to catch the man in person. And what with all his famous friends, who knows who you'll be sitting next to if you buy a ticket?
