Obama's Five Funniest Moments As President

More like Comedian-in-Chief.

It's that time again when America goes to vote and the rest of the world has to live with the consequences. Oh, happy days!

Since there's not a lot we can do, we thought there would be no better time to distract ourselves from the spectre of Donald Trump by looking back on the most hilarious moments from Barack Obama's presidency.

During his time in office Obama has demonstrated pretty solid skills as a comedian, so there's a wealth of material to choose from. Here are our TOP FIVE, in no particular order because they're all just great.

Obama releases his "Birth Video"

Trump came to prominence as a 'birther': someone who believed that Obama was born outside the United States and was therefore ineligible to become president.

This was clearly stupid as fuck, so Obama ripped into the birther movement during a speech at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in 2011.

Obama takes over The Colbert Report

If you thought Stephen Colbert was an excellent host, wait until you see Obama sit at the desk and deliver "The Decree".

Obama reads his mean tweets and roasts Trump

There's only one thing better than Obama reading mean tweets about himself, and that's Obama reading mean tweets from Donald Trump.

Meet Obama's anger translator

At the 2015 White House Correspondents' Dinner, Obama introduced the world to his anger translator, Luther. He'd been putting up with a lot of crap.

And yep, that's one of our very own: Keegan-Michael Key from Key & Peele.

Obama drops the mic

In his last stand up routine as president, Obama bowed out by dropping the mic, in the process creating the world's perfect gif.

Obama, we hardly knew ye.
