Only One Friends Cast Member Had To Audition Twice, And They Found Out At The Reunion

Too. awkward.

Imagine a world without this.

We know, it's unthinkable. But the latest extended clip from the Friends non-reunion (actually a James Burrows tribute but actually still super exciting etc etc etc) revealed that this may have been a possibility.

One Friends cast member learned some brand new information AT THE EVENT, in front of a live audience - that they were the only one to have two auditions with the TV stalwart who put together the charismatic final six.

Lisa Kudrow starts an anecdote with: ‘I had to come in and audition for Jimmy’, to the other four's palpable confusion (sob, we still can't believe Matthew Perry was absent - but we saw his West End play and it *IS* pretty damn good).

It soon becomes clear that they didn't do the same, but they lol about it, Kudrow thanking Burrows for eventually casting her in the greatest sitcom of all time. Maybe he wanted to get a look of her twice, her floopy acting skills were that compelling.

There were no hard feelings, though, as the cast posed happily after the show was taped, and we cried a pool of happy tears. Sadly, the clip isn't available in the UK, but we'll bring you more as we have it.

In the meantime, feast your eyes on this juicy juicy preview and curse your parents for not raising you in the US, where the tribute show featuring David Schwimmer, Lisa  Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Matt Le Blanc and Courteney Cox will air in full this Sunday:
