Our Elevator Pitches For Gritty Reboots Of Myths And Legends

If King Arthur is a graffiti artist, surely the Minotaur can be a 70s detective.

You may have missed the incredibly weird news that the tale of King Arthur is being reimagined by some Americans for a TV show set in New York.

Yes, it sounds bizarre, but according to THR it's 100% true:

When an ancient magic reawakens in modern-day Manhattan, a graffiti artist named Art must team with his best friend Lance and his ex, Gwen — an idealistic cop — in order to realize his destiny and fight back against the evil forces that threaten the city.

It sounds pretty whack, to be honest, but it did get us thinking - if that's all you need to do to get a TV show made in 2016, well, we can do that!

So please enjoy our pitches for gritty reboots of other mythical tales. You're welcome, Hollywood.
