Oh. My. God. It looks like the Friends cast will reunite for a special! They said it would never happen, but we NEARLY got there earlier this year when Rachel, Monica AND Phoebe met up for a special episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and we got Gunther in the same room as us for the amazing FriendsFest last year, so who's to say this time isn't the real deal?!
According to Entertainment Weekly, the legendary line up have decided to come together for a two-hour show, dedicated to Director James Burrows. The news was announced at the Television Critics Association’s press tour in Pasadena today and we are bamboozled.
All six original cast members — Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer — are reportedly on board.
NBC chief Robert Greenblatt said: "I’m hoping all six will be in the same room at the same time". In short, it could logically all fall apart, but who needs logic at a time like this?
Like, it's far from confirmed, and they might not even be in the same city, but still...
Watch this space - we'll bring you ALL the details as we have them.
UPDATE: Stop the presses. Matt LeBlanc has all but confirmed that it's happening. Is it legal to be this excited?
Should be a good time! https://t.co/5mrWPJkD3R— Matt LeBlanc (@Matt_LeBlanc) January 13, 2016
