After the Impractical Jokers' brief visit to the UK last month, which saw sold out tour nights and hundreds of fans turning up for drinks with Murr, Q, Sal and Joe in a Camden pub, we couldn't wait to hear what the foursome would get up to next.
They told us a few secrets when we grabbed them for a quick interview, but kept schtum about the possibility of jumping from the small screen to a rather bigger one. UNTIL NOW.
In an interview with Den of Geek US, James ‘Murr’ Murray confirmed that the foursome ARE HOPING TO SHOOT AN ACTUAL MOVIE, THIS AUGUST.
When you've finished running around the block with your shirt off, here's exactly what Murr said:
“We are hoping to shoot the Impractical Jokers movie this August, yes. If you look at our calendar, we have all of August off from touring.”
The idea is that it would be a mega version of the show, kinda just like Jackass. It would be a buddy comedy, pranking each other all across America.”
WE ARE SO EXCITED, WE COULD DRINK DIRTY POOL WATER. OR GET A JADEN SMITH TATTOO. OR EAT POOP*
*We won't actually do these things, and neither should you, that's what the Jokers do best.
The Jokers will return to the UK for another round of live shows in January 2017, in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow. Tickets are on sale now.
