The Best Reactions To Trump And Kanye's Extremely Weird Meeting

No one knows what it means, but it's provocative.

2016 has been unpredictable in many ways, but Kanye West meeting up with Donald Trump, an out-and-out racist who disses rap music on the regular, might be the strangest thing yet.

Criticising a performance by Jay-Z and Beyonce, Trump said: "The language is so bad and as they were singing - singing right? Was it talking or singing? Right? But the language was so bad" - but that hasn't stopped Kanye stepping into Trump Tower.

Asked by journalists what in the hell they could be talking about, Trump said, "He's a good man. We've been friends for a very long time".

Sure looks like it.

And Kanye? Well, Kanye stood there saying nothing, other than, "I just want to take a picture right now".

Celebrities had a LOT to say about this brief encounter:

James from The Vamps:

Lily Allen

Judd Apatow

But our fave response?

John Legend's...

"In an interview with French outlet Clique, Legend had some harsh words for the meeting, which he called a "publicity stunt."

"I don't think it's impossible to talk to [Donald Trump] about issues, but I won't be used as a publicity stunt. I think Kanye was a publicity stunt," he told French media outlet Clique.

"I'm pretty disappointed with Kanye that he says he would have voted for Trump. I think Trump has been corrosive, his message has been corrosive to the country. I think the things he's promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people, and for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing".
