The Parks & Rec Crew Respond To THOSE Reunion Rumours

"Oh my god, I'll speak for everybody and say we would all do it."

It looks like a Friends reboot is nowhere near happening, despite rumours that Jennifer Aniston is determined to get the gang back together. To fill the void, we're looking to other cult shows, and although Parks & Rec has only been gone three years, we can't help but hope we'll see the band get back together.

NBC

Like David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc et al, the P&R crew are inundated with questions about a potential reunion (what is it with us comedy fans, huh? We always want more and more).

Amy Poehler recently responded on The Ellen Show, saying:

"Oh my god, I'll speak for everybody and say we would all do it. I think we'd all do it someday. It would be amazing. It would be a dream," she continued.

Nick Offerman AKA the amazing Ron Swanson was sat with Amy, supporting her enthusiasm, alongside Ellen.  But he also talked to The Daily Beast about it:

If that were ever to occur, it would be thanks to brains much larger than mine. Brains that I trust with my life," he said. "And so, if Mike Schur and Amy Poehler want to bring the show back and they think it’s a good idea, I will certainly sign on."

So how about Chris Pratt? YEAHHHHHH: "As long as I'm in town, I'll do it," he told E! News this week. "It films like 10 minutes from my house so that would be dope. I miss Andy too. I would love it. I know I would do it."

Lastly, we know you're dying to hear Aubrey Plaza's two cents. SHE PINES FOR THE SHOW TOO!

"I miss Janet Snakehole, I miss Shauna Malwae-Tweep, I miss my husband," she said.

If that doesn't sound like something's brewing, we don't know what does. If you need us, we'll be over in the corner, rocking silently back and forth. Waiting patiently.
