When's the last time you went to the toilet and accidentally won a medal? Never, that's when. Because you are not, and can never hope to be, as good as this dog.
This dog's name is Ludivine. This dog is just two-and-a-half years old. This dog escaped her backyard when she was let out to pee and proceeded to run a half marathon.
Ludivine ran the entire 13.1 mile course of the Trackless Train Trek Half Marathon in Alabama, finishing in just over an hour and a half and coming seventh in the race.
"I can’t believe she ran the whole half marathon because she’s actually really lazy," said her owner April Hamlin, who only realised what Ludivine was up to when volunteers texted her pictures of the pup.
It wasn't always clear Ludivine would finish the race, however, as she was allegedly distracted by a dead rabbit at the two-mile mark.
"Every time I thought she had dropped off to go back home, I would hear her coming back up to me, and she would race past me up to the two leaders," said fellow runner Jim Clemens.
Ludivine herself is yet to comment.
