Um, No, Kim Jong-un Didn't Kidnap Jennifer Aniston

*Confused face emoji*.

In a shock to no one, the dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un, has not conspired to kidnap Friends star Jennifer Aniston to make her his wife. Huh.

Warner Bros. / Comedy Central

This story comes after The National Enquirer made claims that Jong-Un had gone to great lengths to try and 'acquire' the actor, using, supposedly, a former KGB operative. According to the website, the plan would have worked, were it not for Aniston’s security detail on a trip to Paris.

The operative, who apparently informed the website, said that "[Jong-Un] is completely consumed with all things Hollywood. He watches reruns of ‘Friends’ over and over. He’s convinced he will soon be entertaining the biggest stars in Hollywood.”

Gossip Cop, a website that fact checks gossip stories, decided to have a little dig into this cray claim, contacting a CIA spokesperson. They denied the claim.

...but isn’t that exactly what the CIA would do if it were true??????

Wake up sheeple.*

*Comedy Central would like to clarify that we do not think Kim Jong-Un ever attempted to kidnapped JenAn. Probably.
